McKenna’s dream was to go to Walt Disney World but in July of 2012 those plans ran into a few obstacles after being offered by another organization. Jamie Holmes, founder of Jamie’s Dream Team, came across McKenna’s story online on the morning of July 19, 2012 and then within 24 hours, after hearing about McKenna’s story, Jamie’s Dream Team was able to not only fulfill her dream trip to Disney and Give Kids the World, but did so and had the trip booked by noon on July 20, 2012.
